Good morning Friend,
Tuesday morning, is it easier then Monday morning? It doesn't matter as long as we wake up with the desire to see God's glory during the day. No day is the same for any of us. We might share things in common like having preference for Friday than for Monday but the truth is that when I have a good day or a bad day doesn't mean that you all are having a great day or a bad day like me.
Each experience helps me confront an issue in my life, a fear if I am honest to name it. The fear of not being good enough, of not being healthy enough, of not being holy enough, of not being knowledgeable enough...you name it. Those are insecurities and shortcomings. The fear of the Lord is yet different. To fear Him, you first need to believe in Him, to believe in Him you need to know Him and when you know Him you will learn to Love Him, when you Love Him, you will fear Him.
What is the fear of God mean to you? Do you see God as angry or as a loving God?
So why do we fear Him?
Moses said to the people, "Do not fear,
for God has come to test you,
that the fear of him may be before you,
that you may not sin." -Exodus 20:20
Monday
-The Lord sustains him on his sickbed;
in his illness you restore him to full health. Psalm 41:3
