Today is a Brand New Day!

Good morning Friend,
Are you having coffee? Let me tell you something that happened to me yesterday. I went to visit a friend and of course we spoke of many things. At times life is overwhelming and we go through many hardships and we have different seasons in our walk with Christ. I am sure you have had yours or are going through it. The Bible from beginning to end tells us of normal imperfect people used by God to do amazing things. In God's words it says that we, His disciples, will do even greater miracles then those of Jesus if we believe with all of heart. But would it not be much better to have a mentor to tell us what to do and when to do it?
As I was leaving my friend's home, she locked herself out. She noticed right on time before I left. We laughed so much, but then reality kicked in. What now? We called a friend but it no answer, we called the lock smith and they wanted to charge and eye and a leg for it. So we got the great idea to break the window, we figured it was cheaper than to pay the lock smith. While I ran through the stairs for the 5th time, my friend figured a way to remove the glass, instead of breaking it. I had a bag with emergency assistance equipment in the car, so I got my gear. We removed the glass and I jumped in and opened the door.
The lesson was that although at times we think that help needs to come from somewhere else, sometimes it just doesn't. We did not realized that we could solve the dilemma of a door closed. If I was alone, I would have broken the glass, if my friend was alone she would have cut her hands with the glass. But we worked together and we conquered. The same goes with the word of God, we are equipped with the word of God, two are better then one. Encourage/love someone today!
