Today is a Brand New Day!
Good morning Friend,

Philadelphia, one beautiful historic city!

It is Friday, I hope that you have nice plans for this weekend and you spend it with family and friends.

These days I am thinking of my visit n Philadelphia a few years ago and I remember all the great things I saw. This was one of the highlights. When I think of Philly, I think of the liberty bell. I think how a group of people achieved their quest for freedom of religion, poverty and oppression. They came to America like every other immigrant: empty handed. Yet they built a great nation!

Our generation can leave a legacy as well, if we want to. If we dare to believe that we can be used by God and make a difference one life at the time.

If we believe we live in freedom, we can do it.

  • "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1
  • "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32
  • "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." John 8:36

Facts of the Liberty Bell:

  • The bell cracked the first time it was rung.
  • The bell weighed 2080 pounds when it was cast.
  • The strike note of the Bell is E-flat
  • On the bell, "Pennsylvania" is spelled "Pensylvania"
  • When the Liberty Bell first cracked, it was given to Pass & Stow to recast. A replacement bell was ordered from Whitechapel Foundry in England. The Pass & Stow bell is the Liberty Bell."Sister Bell":  Old St. Augustine's Church.

Have a great weekend.

God bless you,
