Words of your Savior Jesus Christ

Tuesday June 26, 2012

Greetings!

"Remember we were praying for Derek's eye. He did his operation and everything was going well, but last Friday he saw the doctor and he said the oil/fluid is accumulating in one area and Derek had to stay lying face down through today. He is going to see the doctor tomorrow and maybe remove the oil. The oil needed to stay for 2 months. Let us hope that the doctor finds a better solution for Derek. Please keep him and his wife Min in prayers."

This was the prayer request on June 19. Today we need your prayers, Derek is not healing and he has another detachment, according to Min his retina is very fragile and now he will be seeing 2 doctors at Bascom Palmer for new opinions about how to proceed with his treatment.

Keep him in prayers so that the new doctors can discover where the problem is.

Also please pray for my friend Jorge, he is going to a job promotion interview on Friday, may the Lord's favor be on him. Jorge is a young married man and he is seeking perseverance to maintain a healthy life style and a happy marriage/home. God is doing something amazing in his life!

And last but not least, please pray for a young man, Matthew. He grew up in church, he knows the ways of God and he loves God but he has been confused by people, by the evil one. He has walked away from his path. The comfort for a good mother is in the Bible, a great promise that says in Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. We all go through trials and we return under the umbrella of God. But Join me in prayers, that while he is gone on his personal journey that we pray for him that God will keep him safe and that God's Holy Spirit will stir him and convict him of his ways. That in his lonely moments he would know that God loves him and is waiting for him with his arms wide open. The power of prayer is powerful when we believe, when we can see this young man as our own brother, son, nephew, cousin...Like him there are many others seeking that someone would tell him about the love of Christ. Maybe they reject it but perhaps they do so because they feel that they are not worthy. They don't know about the grace and mercy of God. We do, and it is our privilege to share the love as Jesus loved us by prayer. In your prayers, remember their mothers, they suffer too and they need love and support. Each prayer from you is like a precious diamond for the mother, a big comfort to feed her faith in Christ.

Thank you for your kindness of your prayers.
Isaiah 55:11
"so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

God bless you,
