Today is a Brand New Day
Faith

Hello my friend,

I pray that you had a great week and that you can use these guidelines to teach the children in your family and neighborhood how to pray.

Even adults can learn a couple of things. Sometimes we are shy to pray because it doesn't sound like Billy Graham. The truth is that a prayer needs to come from the heart, when it comes from the heart and with genuine faith it will be answered. The more you pray and the more we read the word of God, the more devotional the prayers.

Think of a phone call, if you call your friend and your friend doesn't want to tell you  what is going on in their life, the conversation doesn't advance from "is it raining over there?", and it will be long before you hear of that person again. But good friends pick up where they left off and they tell each other everything in all honesty because that is your one friend with whom you can be yourself, pray and grow. In every relationship we need to be honest, show our wounds. Our Heavenly Father wants that communion with us and its starts by letting him know that we want to build our relationship with him; be honest with Him, show Him that we are committed by making time to read, share and reflect on scripture and time to pray.

I promise you this, doubt will shadow our heart and we will fail at times, but we cannot stay there, God surely wants to helps up again and grow our faith again. Prayer is the medium. Once our relationship with God is right we become the best of friends to others, all our relationships become richer just because our relationship with God is healthy!

 The Prayer of Faith

James 1:5-7

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,

Have a great weekend!
Blessings,
