Individual Prayers, let them pray about what they feel they want to pray about. They are children and at this time they are learning to dedicate time for prayer. When they are older they will understand much more. Right now we are helping them adapt prayer as part of their lifestyle.
Non-Traditional Prayers, through art, music or written
Incorporate scripture to be included in the prayer. Teach them to memorize scripture. Make flash cards with verses about thanksgiving, Joy, Peace, Love, discipline, loving our neighbor, loving our parents and friends.

How good of a job do we do in teaching kids different types of prayer? How might we need to improve in this area?
What are the benefits of praise and confession for kids?
Do we include all of these types of prayer in our personal prayers? In the prayers we pray in front of our kids? Why or why not?
