Good morning! I pray you are having a great morning. Allow me to share step #2 in the teaching about Prayer. Types of Prayer.
Types of Prayer
There are different types of prayers, most of the times we combine them so that we can express ourselves better. The Lord's Prayer is the model as how our prayers can be.
The Lord's Prayer guides our prayer in:
Telling God How Great He Is
Telling God What You've Done Wrong / Asking Forgiveness
Thanking God for What He Has Done
Asking God for Things for Others and Yourself
Consider
- How good of a job do we do in teaching kids different types of prayer? How might we need to improve in this area?
- What are the benefits of praise and confession for kids?
- Do we include all of these types of prayer in our personal prayers? In the prayers we pray in front of our kids? Why or why not?
