Today is a Brand New Day
Hello my friend,

If the lifespan education of the Christian life begins at birth and it ends at death, my greatest question for my own life is:

  • Where am I at my Spiritual lifespan line?
  • Where are you?

Are we:

New born Christian                        or                                      Mature Christian

                                                    Growing Christians

Birth    Childhood  Youth    Young Adult   Middle adult    Elder adult    Death

Why does it matter? God loves you anyway, but the things is how will you live a fulfilled life in Christ if we do not know how much richer our lives can be.

Be honest, how many times is the right thing make you feel that you got the short end of the stick in life?  I have. The question has been WHY? But when I realized that life can only get better and better when you get to know more of God. When through Christ and through the work of the Holy Spirit I can learn more of the character of my God, our Lord; Life has a new meaning and has the greatest value of all things. We suffer for whatever reason, we live in constant brokenness, I get it.  But the more we focus on God, the less we look at our stuff, the more I think of heaven, the more I want to get there! Life is not only what we are going through right now, the best is yet to come. When I get to heaven, I will have my residence, my through citizenship; I will have my place and an awesome garden to meet with my friends and together we will worship the God almighty, the "Great I Am". We will suffer no more.

One thing none of us cannot avoid is meeting with Jesus and on that day we will all be accountable for all we have done. That is why maturity in our Christian life matters. We need to start living a spiritual & holy life... I wonder what I will respond, how will I explain the many times I sinned knowing it was a sin. What excuse will I give to justify the hurt I inflicted in others? what will I say when my Lord will ask me why I did not pray day and night? Why did I not have mercy and kindness toward others? why I did not look for the sick and the prisoner and the orphan and the widow? Why did I not value the people around me if they were precious to Him? If we do something good, we will be praised too, don't get me wrong but for that I do not believe I will have a problem. But that day will come. Sooner or later, but it will come.

Revelation 19-22

19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21 He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'"

Growing up is what life is all about. The goal in our lives is to mature. When we do not mature life gets messy and we get tired of living. When we mature, all falls in place and life is worth living and that is the life God wants for His people.

May our Lord bless you and embrace you with his peace. In Jesus name, Amen.
