Hello my friend,
If the lifespan education of the Christian life begins at birth and it ends at death, to whom is the lifespan important? The church? or to the family?
How is this lifespan important in our church? Well look around at what happens at your church. To who are the outreach targeted? Where does most of the budget go, which ministry?
You are an exception if you come up with another group other than the young adult. These are the single young professionals or the young families with either babies or teens. Most of the children ministries are child care and so it the youth ministry. These are not the main interest of the church, these are cares that will make mom and dad have a free time to sit during a church service.

Perspective
Do you remember your first grade teacher? Yes! I do too.
Do you remember what you ate for breakfast last Thursday? Yeah, neither do I.
Childhood: Time when the brain can memorize anything. Time to teach bible verses.
Time to teach children say grace before eating, time to teach them pray
Time to model Christ before them, this is the time to help them understand
how much God loves us. This is not the time to baptize the children, they cannot understand the concept of commitment because they are too young and their brain has not yet developed to understand this beautiful act but you are.
Youth: Time to help them use the information they acquired while they were in their childhood years. Time to trust them and give them an opportunity to be part of the church community. Time to teach them and guide them to understand the changes in their lives.Time to prepare them to go to college, time to prepare them to make wise decision by praying. Time to reassure them and mentor them while they are in college. this is the time to prepare them to make the life time commitment to Christ through baptism.
Young adults: The brain is fully developed and even though it can learn new things it is very hard to memorize bible verses. Making prayer become a lifestyle is very hard. Any spiritual discipline becomes hard to own because we were not taught to when we were young. Can you ride a bicycle? Maybe you have not done that is a long time but once you are on it, you remember. Because we learned to ride when we were young. At this stage if a person was not taught well, they have a worldview. It is hard, not impossible to change that worldview and transform it to be a Kingdom worldview..
Middle adults: Middle age Help me fill the blank here, what is the ministry for middle adults who are perhaps single because they never marry or are divorced. Time for middle age crisis for both men and women. Time to face whether you did well in life or not. Time to evaluate if you reached your goals or not. A hard time to realize the younger years are gone.
Elder adults: Time to enjoy the fruits of the hard labor. Time to retire from work. Time to seek a new direction. Time to set new goal for life. Time to pass on the wisdom to the next generation. Time of facing fears of aging alone. Time to reassure our elder people in our family and in our church.
FACTS
The American church loses 70% of its 18 and 22 year olds. SEVENTY PER CENT! That's scary. Think about your youth group - the teens in your church and in your family - by the time they are 22 years old - 70% will no longer go to church. Writing to you what I learn is a great way to retain the information. Thank you. May you walk in Christ peace on this day Be blessed,
