Its Friday friend!
How can it be, another end of a working week. Praise to God for His blessings and for His protection. Yesterday morning as I was heading out my apt a smile escaped thinking of the goodness of God. There are so many reasons for being grateful to God and my heart overflows thinking of all the blessings in my life. For all the awesome moments and for knowing without a doubt that God is with me, with you, with us through our battles. I was so joyful. Imagine, our Lord is always faithful, always protecting and sheltering us from every storm. No matter how big the obstacle, for God nothing is impossible, He gets us through. See how God works.Two friends, Mirna & Debbie blessed me with the same verse. What are the chances of that happening in one morning. They shared verse 17 Israel's Joy and Restoration "Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves.
He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy." ~ Zephaniah 3:17 (HCSB)
I always love to read the before and after the verses, it usually gets better:
14Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion;shout, O Israel!
Rejoice and exult with all your heart,O daughter of Jerusalem!
15 The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst;you shall never again fear evil. 16 On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:"Fear not, O Zion;let not your hands grow weak. Zeph 3:18-20.
18 I will gather those of you who mourn for the festival,so that you will no longer suffer reproach. 19 Behold, at that time I will dealwith all your oppressors. And I will save the lameand gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praiseand renown in all the earth. 20 At that time I will bring you in,at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praisedamong all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunesbefore your eyes," says the Lord. Zeph 3:18-20. Joy, Justice and Restoration is on the way! I rejoice with you and I pray we open our hearts and receive this promise and share it with others. Pray for Mirna she is getting closer to due date and soon little Micah will be with us. Also pray for Debbie as she is a blessing to me.
