Greetings!

Good morning, I pray that you are having a beginning of the day and that you are full of expectation for this day the Lord has made for you and me!
Last week I submitted a prayer request for an email that I needed to send. I can share with you that it was an email to the founder of the Justice Conference. I met him during a networking dinner and we spoke briefly. I asked him why the Hispanic church was not represented. shame came over him and he explained to me that it was his intention to have a Hispanic speaker but that it did not happen. He told me that he had little knowledge about the personalities within the Hispanic church n the US. So I suggested that he contacted my seminary director, mentor and pastor. He gave me his card and contact information. He mentioned to me that it was his prayer that next year the Hispanic church will have representation. So finally today after much prayer and editing, I contacted him again to remind him of what he said. Join me in prayers that God will open the door for the Hispanic church in the US and that we too will have a voice during the conference. I am advocating for Brazilian pastors, European pastors and Haitian pastors to also be part of this conference. All continents should join forces and fight for what is right in the eyes of God. There are godly men & women out there who are doing a tremendous work to serve and protect God's people. They should have a place a platform to inform other Christians. Language barriers must fall down by the zeal we have for Christ!

Back to Exodus. It is important that we understand what we read and that we know the meaning and use of the items that God instruct man to make. The table of the bread is another example. In the New Testament we know who the bread is, we know that the bread was broken for us. And we break bread to remember the one who paid with his precious life for our dirty sins: Jesus.
Again, I looked some information from the internet for you so that you can learn why the bread was on a table in the tabernacle.

Exodus 25:23-30 Making of the table for bread. Reade the verses.

In Leviticus 24:5 we read: "And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth parts shall be in one cake. And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD. And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the BREAD ["lechem"] for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD. Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant. And it shall be Aaron's and his sons; and they shall eat it in the holy place; for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute" (Lev. 24:5-9).

This showbread was, literally, "bread of the Presence." It consisted of twelve loaves of wheat bread, corresponding to the twelve tribes of Israel. It was placed on the table of the showbread, on the north side of the Temple, in front oft the Holy of Holies, opposite the lamp stand containing the seven lamps. It was placed on the bale every Sabbath, arranged in two rows of six loaves each, with each loaf piled on top of another. When the new loaves were placed on the table, the week-old loaves were taken off the table, and eaten by the priests in the Holy Place, or Sanctuary.
