standing in awe
Today is a Brand New Day
Live it with passion
Good morning!
Oregon
St. Helens

Later on Sunday I drove from Silver Falls State Park, I traveled through St. Helens, towards Astoria. During these hours of driving I had long conversations with God. Digesting the information I got on both Friday and Saturday. It has been overwhelming ever since, in a good way of course. The scenery was the amazing testimony of the grandeur of God the Father. The lyrics of " This is my Father's world" hymn that we sang on Friday night during the opening of the conference, echoed in my head throughout the weekend...and I cried and I smiled....and I cried of joy and I smiled..

" This is my Father's world" hymn
storm ahead
Astoria, Oregon

This is my Father's world,
and to my listening ears
all nature sings, and round me rings
the music of the spheres.
This is my Father's world:
I rest me in the thought
of rocks and trees, of skies and seas;
his hand the wonders wrought.

This is my Father's world,

the birds their carols raise,
the morning light, the lily white,
declare their maker's praise.
This is my Father's world:
he shines in all that's fair;
in the rustling grass I hear him pass;
he speaks to me everywhere.

This is my Father's world.

O let me never forget that though the
wrong seems often so strong,
God is the ruler yet.
This is my Father's world:
why should my heart be sad?
The Lord is King; let the heavens ring!
God reigns; let the earth be glad!

I am humbled to have seen all this beauty in just a few hours. I hope the beauty of the works of the hand of our God and His word will inspire you today as much as it inspired me this weekend.

"1The heavens declare the glory of God,and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. 2 Day to day pours out speech,and night to night reveals knowledge.3 There is no speech, nor are there words,whose voice is not heard" Psalm 19:1-3 ESV
