TODAY IS A BRAND NEW DAY
SURPRISE THE WORLD WITH A SMILE

Good morning friend,

Chapter one and two tell the story of the birth of Moses. How at the time of birth the baby boys were killed at birth by order of the pharaoh. He was set into a basket and he was placed in the river. The pharaoh's daughter took care of him and adopted him as son. Until one day he killed an Egyptian out of rage. The Egyptian was oppressing a Hebrew and he killed him. When the pharaoh learned about this he was furious and Moses fled into the wilderness. He married and he had a son. And then God called him by name.
Exodus 3:1-4
1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight-why the bush does not burn up."

4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!"

And Moses said, "Here I am."

I love these verses! It reminds me that at times I have to stop quacking and be still to be able to hear God's voice. It is in moments of solitude that God's speaks to us and call us by name....
I am listening Lord, I pray I can hear your voice and follow it.

Blessings,
