I pray that you are having a great week so far. Today I want to share with you that I am registered to a great conference in Portland, Oregon on February 24-25. www.thejusticeconference.com The Justice Conference 2012 is the second annual international gathering of advocates, activists, artists, professors, professionals prophets, pastors, students and stay-at-home moms working to restore the fabric of justice. For some it means speaking. For others it means singing. For some it means going. For others it means giving. For all, it means living with mercy and love. Something in my heart tells me that my life is about to be changed forever. Last year I stumbled on the facebook page of this conference, by "accident". This happens during a time of prayer for direction and eager to learn more about Social Justice. ****
Back to the scriptures. Exodus 1:11 So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor.... Forced labor makes the body weak and weary. The enemy knows that if it has you are in that condition it can make you feel as if God is not listening to you. Maybe you have been waiting too long for a job, maybe we are waiting for a spouse, maybe for healing and it just seems so far away. Know that the enemy has a slave master trying to oppress you and make you lose focus and hope. Lets stand strong and have the perspective that we have a great God that has total control over the enemy. Our God is stronger and mightier than the problem! If He is with us, who can stand against?
