Evening and morning, and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud;and He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:17

Greetings!

It is the beginning of the year and I like to believe that beginning a year is always very positive. I believe that many of us have the expectation that things will get better. And God willing they will! Yet, in these couple of days I have seen the enemy be at work, hurting people I love. Somehow the enemy also knows that God has great plans for us and that blessings are on the way. So what does the enemy do? Break our dreams, ruin our goals, break our relationships, discourage our souls, sadden our hearts....

God has not forgotten us, whatever the situation. Think of Noah, he had never seen rain. He had to build an ark, people mocked him. Then he experienced a flood for months with an ark full of animals. Imagine the stench, the work to manage the animals. We too experience hard situations, we persevere but at times we need God's intervention to help us out. By interceding for one another in prayer we can have that divine help.

May I asked you to keep Natalia and her husband Luis in prayers. This young couple has been patiently waiting for God to send them help. We all know how discouraging this can be and how this affects a person. Luis is looking for a job, in IT field and Natalia is also looking for a full time job in health care. If you need more details, pls feel free to email me and I will gladly pass their contact  information. I call on the men to pray for Luis, as head of his household it must feel terrible not being able to provide. If you have time to meet with him do so. He needs men that would speak him of God's power and glory, to seek him through this difficult time. Pray for Natalia, that God will give her peace and to keep the calm through the storm. That her faith will strengthen her and be their for her husband.

Please include the many families that are struggling right now in South Florida due to the bad economy and have nowhere to turn.

I feel that more then ever, we need to cling to the word of God and to our each other as friends and family in Christ. I read in my devotional that we must not look at the uncertainty but to trust that God is there. We cannot not do this alone because it is not easy, but we can do it together in prayer. Lets love on Luis and Natalia by fervently keeping them in prayer

Genesis 8:1-11

1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. 2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky. 3 The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down, 4 and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. 5 The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.  6 After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark 7 and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. 8 Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. 9 But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. 10 He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. 11 When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.

Isaiah 55:11
"so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

God bless you,
