Good morning there!
I just woke up it is 12:15 pm and it is 6:15 am in Miami, funny! I am so tired, I have been on the go for days now. Every day checking out a new site. Yesterday I was with my old neighbor Darren and we went to a museum in Utrecht, it is a Christian history museum. Therefore I thought that he would not go with me as he is so skeptical about church. To my surprise he brought me and wanted to join me. This museum carries a great collection of super luxurious artifacts of the Roman Catholic church and also a collection of the Reformed Church. He had so many questions that thanks to my studies I could answer and we spent the entire afternoon in there. It was amazing. The museum is an convent of the 16th century but has been renovated in the past years. The architecture of the old and new is amazing. At the entrance of the monastery they had a live manger, only the baby Jesus was a doll but Mary and Joseph were walking around feeding the sheep, lamas, goats, chickens and 2 donkeys. They were interacting with the public and telling about the Nativity seen, super cool! Then when we sat down for coffee and Dutch pastry, we sat by the window overlooking the building and the manger and suddenly 3 ladies started to sing Christmas carols a-capella. We were sitting there and having a super good time. We did not expect such a treat. He lives in Utrecht, he has been in that city for the past 10 ears and he had never been there. When we left the building he mentioned to me that it was all very interesting. So we went to

dinner afterwards. We walked towards the center of the city till we reached an Argentinean restaurant. The city is so romantic and so melancholic, full of historic buildings and fascinating architecture. I am in love with the city. I have not been able to upload pictures on the blog, my i-phone is off so I can't transfer the pictures. But I will once in Miami.
During our conversations at dinners, my friend mentions to me that he is a born again Christian. I was in complete shock, I didn't see that one coming. The reason that he had left attending church was because of the leadership of his church. He was the choir boy, attending youth group, he ushered during the prayer services and went to church almost 3 to 4 times a week, he got baptized and he still says it was the most beautiful day of his life yet. Back in the days, we used to take International Dance classes and acting classes together. One day we had a great performance and the picture of the group was placed in the newspaper. The leadership of the church thought that he was no longer righteous to be leading the youth group and his other leadership duties. They made him step down since he was engaged with the "world", he asked them why? and questioned why dancing was so bad and they didn't answer to him. He was so sad that he had to stop doing what he loved best. He was 17 at the time. what he got out of it is that he learned to develop a personal relationship with God. The thing is that we still need to come together as one body and he has a hard time believing that he will be able to ever be involved again as he used to.
