Elio you will be missed my friend!

Evening and morning, and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud;and He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:17

friend and fellow student

Thank you for your prayers. My friend Elio passed this afternoon at 5:57 p.m

After I sent the prayer request I went to my room to pray and while I was praying another friend called me to let me know that he only had minutes to live. I rushed to the hospital to the critical care and I got to the room, they were gathering around the bed and he went Home with the Lord at that moment.....We held hands and prayed together around the bed and cheered him on his Good Race..

Elio is an Argentinean brother from Mendoza, he was a hairstylist of profession and a Pastor at heart; a great friend. He had a wife and two children. He was always with joy and was a man of great faith. He was the light and the salt among us. Last week before I left the class we spoke and we were making plans to do a parrillada after his recovery...He asked me to keep him in prayers but he also mentioned that he was not feeling anxious or anything. He was glowing the last two weeks, he had a special joy as if butterflies and flowers were around him and that expression is not common for men but he was.
A few students/pastors and professors, we remained there until everyone was gone to support the family and help where needed. When everyone else left, we said goodbye and prayed together, Elio's face was peaceful and as if he was smiling..

I lost a good friend today and I am broken, but at the same time I rejoice to know that Elio is where I so much long to be one day in God's loving arms..
Thank you for your prayers, and if you could lift the family in prayers they have tough times to face now. The wife has accepted the Lord but not his daughter and son. The daughter didn't make it to see her dad, she got there 2 hours late and was brokenhearted.

Thank you for your kindness.

Isaiah 55:11
"so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

God bless you,
