Today is the first day of Autumn, change in season. I hope you are having a good week so far and that you have been reflecting on the verse we are studying this week. If this is a challenging week consider this verse:

"Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

 

We will always have problems, hardships, challenges and sorrows; they will not go away. But we can get rid of the fear that we feel when we face them, the defeat we feel because of weakness and the negative attitude we have to disclose or approach our problems. Praying that they will go away is not always effective. But accepting God's justice in our lives(as consequence of our sins) and waiting on his forgiveness and favor, gives perspective about answered prayers.

 

In the mists of hardship and sorrows there is always an angel in our lives that lights up our day; someone who is selfless and make us smile and cheer us up. Today you can be that angel, to the people around you. Lets imitate Jesus Christ, the one who endured the cross, so that we do not grow weary and lose heart.The Joy is that the lost can now get closer to God the father, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
