Friend

I pray that you are getting ready to begin a Brand New Day and that you are well in health and feeling in peace.

Throughout the day yesterday we experienced the memorial of 9/11 and many of us went through many emotions as the day past by. A great thing, well at least in my perspective, was that the President quoted scripture to address the nation. Everyone who saw his speech at ground zero heard Psalm 46 from beginning to the last word of it. This week I will reflect on this Psalm, how about you?

Leaders invoke the word of God and whether they are aware or not, is that the Word of God is alive and has power. In Isaiah 55:10-11 this is what it says about God's word:

10As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,11so is my word

that goes out from my mouth:

It will not return to me empty,

but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Thanking the Lord for this new week and this new morning, praising Jesus' name for restoration and invoking the Holy Spirit to guide us through the week, I remain.

With Love,
