In the beginning
20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." 23 And there was evening,
and there was morning-the fifth day.
Genesis 1:20-23
Today is the morning of the fifth day. At the end of the firth day God blessed the first living creatures. Up to that day, the Lord planned everything before creating mankind. God the father made sure we were safely kept in a place we could breath and have all the provisions mankind needed to live a long life in fellowship with them. We all know that unfortunately sin got in the way and we were separated from God. Well imagine that God goes through the process of making a new world every time one of us is born. God knows us because the Bible says he knit us in our mother's womb. And every day he works on us and the plans he has for our lives. and at the end of each of our lives there is evening but also there is a morning.
We need to learn to see more then what our eyes look at. Never take another morning for granted but rejoice just because we have Today is a Brand New Day!
There is still day 6 and day 7, I encourage you to read your Bible and find out what follows. Quick preview, day-God creates mankind and blesses them. Day 7 God rested and blessed the day, Sunday is a day for Thanksgiving for all the new mornings and new beginnings.
