In the beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day. Genesis 1:1-4
Long ago the Lord created the heavens and the earth, before Him there was a dark, formless and empty place. Today we have the blessing and the gift of life and a Brand new Day. The time called Day by God is here.The certificate of achievement is usually presented after an achievement. But I realized that because 'tomorrow' is promised to none, there is a chance that I will see Jesus tonight. He might ask me what I achieved today, I pray that I have something good to say.
Before I found Christ in my life, my days were dark, formless and empty. But my Savior came along and gave me life. Each day I rejoice in honoring Christ while there is still time. The certificate is given in advance. So that we can ask God direction and strength to face the Brand New Day the Lord has given us and do something that will make a Kingdom difference.
What will we say we achieved at the end of this Brand New Day?
