ABOUT THIS EMAIL

Every day the sun comes up, whether we are ready or not. In a day we take many decisions and the time frame to evaluate each one is very short. It is my conviction that we always have enough choices but that it is more important to know what the consequences are of each action and decisions we make. Always questioning if I am putting God first when I make choices. Every day I write a journal entry on the topics that I personally struggle with. I share my challenges, trials, joy, sorrow, faith and the lessons learned with my friends. Not one day goes by without praising my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his wisdom and grace. My messages are to honor my Lord and be a witness of his endless love. This love is available for all of us.

Greetings!

Coffee is ready and the paper is waiting for you in the driveway. Early risers a full day lays ahead, I pray that you keep your loved ones in prayers and that we say blessings over our family members as the day goes by. This week we are preparing to celebrate Father's Day. With that in mind I am going to share my thoughts on this amazing book I am reading Fields of the Fatherless, Discover the Joy of compassionate Living, by C. Thomas Davis.

"In this world you are an Orphan-

Eagerly anticipating your adoption

as God's child

In this world you are a widow-

longing for reunion with your Bridegroom.

In this world you are a stranger- A pilgrim waiting to become a citizen of Heaven" C. Thomas Davis

My father took this picture when I was 2 1/2 years at my godmother's house in Curacao. I guess I didn't fear because I could see my dad was right there with me. I felt safe.

Today I am many nautical miles away from my dad and under other circumstances I would not feel protected. But I have my heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. I can call on my heavenly Daddy and know without a doubt that he will come to my aid.

For every bubu in my heart, he has a special band-aid. For every deep wound he has a word of peace and a divine hand to ease the pain. For every tear I shed he has a sweet blessing waiting for me. For every battle he has victory for me. For every sin he has forgiveness and comfort to help me face the consequences. I fear nothing but the Lord.

Who's your Daddy?

Trust in the word of God, this is what the Lord said about his word in Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

God bless you,
