Commit to the LORD whatever you do,

   and your plans will succeed.

Hurricane Season-Before the Storm 11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.
Proverbs 3:11-12

Trash Disposal

Miami-Dade county advises to schedule a pick up for bulky waste during the hurricane season so that you do not accumulate trash. Bulky trash causes much damage as they are launched in the air and break windows and other.

Watches & Warnings:

  • Mandatory Evacuation Order - Imminent threat to life and property exists. Individuals MUST relocate and seek refuge in an inland, non-evacuation area.
  • Voluntary Evacuation Order - A threat to life and property may be imminent. Evacuation not required, but would be advantageous, particularly for tourists, elderly and those with special needs.

Trash disposal for Christians:Anger, pride, ego, selfishness, bitterness, envy, jealousy, drunkenness, unforgiving hearts and the like. Get rid of it.

Mandatory evacuation:  There is no turning around, it is your faith to go through this storm. God will bring something good out of this storm, do not fear and seek refuge in God's word.

Voluntary evacuation: walk away from the present danger, you are given a choice. Use God's wisdom to make a good assessment of the situation and spent time in solitude to recognize when you need to evacuate. Follow the evacuation  watch and warnings.

Before the storm, make sure you have batteries and alternative communication devices. Before the storm, make sure your communication with God is right so that you can hear his voice and you can follow his lead when the time comes to evacuate.

Are you preparing for the storms?

About this email

Every day the sun comes up, whether we are ready or not. In a day we take many decisions and the time frame to evaluate each one is very short. It is my conviction that we always have enough choices but that it is more important to know what the consequences are of each action and decisions we make. Always questioning if I am putting God first when I make choices. Every day I write a journal entry on the topics that I personally struggle with. I share my challenges, trials, joy, sorrow, faith and the lessons learned with my friends. Not one day goes by without praising my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his wisdom and grace. My messages are to honor my Lord and be a witness of his endless love. This love is available for all of us.

Announcement board

Today I celebrate God's grace.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

All verses used in this emails are from the NIV 2010

Trust in the word of God, this is what the Lord said about his word in Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

God bless you,
