Psalm 55:17

Evening and morning, and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud; and He shall hear my voice.

Saturday May 28, 2011

Greetings!

The promises of God are given to all. Through prayer we built communion between us and God. And when we pray for others we are practicing the command Jesus gave us of loving one another.

Urgent prayer request:
Miami -Teresa Pierson. She is an elder lady and her health has been rapidly declining; had a stroke, now blood clots and the doctors told the family that she may not make it through the night. I pray that God will comfort the family and that he will strengthen Mrs. Teresa and give her peace. May God's angels protect her and keep her pain free.  May our Lord bring peace in the hearts of his family.

Surgery in a few weeks: Dickon. I wonder if you would do something for me, please.

I know your faith is strong so I am asking for prayers for my younger brother Dickon. He has to undergo brain surgery for a benign (thankfully benign) tumour called an

Acoustic Neuroma. Surgery is in a couple of weeks but I wanted to get the prayers started immediately. Thanks you so very much. I really appreciate it. Ann(this was sent to a friend/reader of this mailing list)

"Dear prayer warriors,
This mail is just a short update on Nick who continues making progress at an incredible rate!
Though impaired, it is now confirmed that Nick can see things from time to time and his ability to speak has improved much over the past days. He has now mentioned the names of his friends from the night he was stabbed and has shared his fear of dying. Most likely those last minutes of his life battling to survive keep churning in his mind. Among other things he said to his father: "Please don't leave me. I'm scared."
From a nurse at the hospital who is the friend of a relative to our family we now know that Nick is the talk of the day at the hospital. His case is a first for the doctors who apparently have not seen this kind of survivability and progress before. Nick presents them with "impossibles made possible."
It is delightful to be able to enter this weekend giving thanks to God for Nick's progress. Praise Him who is able, who is capable and who delights in giving good gifts to his children - our heavenly Father - the Lord God Almighty!!
Blessings to all of you,
Torben & Yurika"

The kingdom of heaven
"Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

- Matthew 5:3-9

Trust in the word of God, this is what the Lord said about his word in Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

God bless you,
