Psalm 55:17

Evening and morning, and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud; and He shall hear my voice.

Greetings!

The Lord answers prayers never doubt that!

 News from Yurika & Tobern:

Hi Julietta and prayer warriors,

An update on Nick:

First of all, thank you for your faithfulness in praying for Nick, a 21 year old (young, actually!) kid who was stabbed badly by some insane person and went through what one doctor expressed as a case so bad he had never seen anyone survive it.
We asked you to pray, and you did.
Next we received notice that due to extensive loss of oxygen to the brain decay had set in, that there was no longer any brain activity and that he would not wake up again.
We asked for more intensive prayer for Nick and you prayed.
Doctors then discovered a very weak connection between the brain and his fingers.
You guys kept on praying.
Doctors tried to bring him out of coma, but things  went sour.
You kept on praying.
Eventually weeks later Nick was brought out of coma. It was a mixed story of cramps, eyes that did open briefly, but void of expression, more medicine needed, etc..
You kept on praying! Nick then started moving his arms, but uncontrollably so.
You kept on praying.
Remember what the doctors said: He is not going to wake up again. Well, Nick did wake up.
My (Torben) parents visited Nick over the weekend, and guess what: The young man who was not going to wake up said "Hi" to my grandparents as they came in!!!!! My mother said that it seemed as if he recognized them. She talked to him and told him that next time he comes to visit them she will bake a banana cake for him. (I guess it's his favorite) Nick wanted to respond to that and tried to say something that maybe should have been "Grandma," but he couldn't and started crying. He has been crying a lot, they were then told by the nurse. Doctors are wanting to find out why he cries this much. My parents were also told that doctors are surprised at his process of recovery.
NOW IT IS APPROPRIATE TO TAKE TIME TO PRAISE GOD FOR HIS INTERVENTION!
Praise God for how He has pushed every statement of the doctors out into the horizon and worked on a process of healing which shows that with God nothing is impossible!!
Praise God that He has allowed our prayers to be not only heard but answered beyond what some of us probably expected.
Give thanks to God for being a merciful God who has allowed Nick another chance at life, another chance to eventually come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, if he hasn't already done so.
And then keep on praying for Nick and his family. The story obviously doesn't end here. There are still tremendous battles to be fought for Nick, his parents (divorced) and his brother in the spiritual realm.

Once again, thank you for your faithfulness in praying for Nick!

The kingdom of heaven
"Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

- Matthew 5:3-9

Trust in the word of God, this is what the Lord said about his word in Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

God bless you,
