There is no one common factor in real estate markets across the US.  Some areas continue to have low sales volumes and a large inventory of homes for sale. Others are flooded with shorts sales and foreclosures.  Lake Tahoe, on the other hand, has more buyers than other areas and a record 6 year low on the number of homes for sale. With interest rates low and a belief that this may be the last time they'll be able to purchase a home in Lake Tahoe, buyers are now jumping on the current homes for sale.  In the last 2 months, Team Paradise has been involved in many multiple offers on homes in Tahoe.  One last week had 8 multiple counter offers and another local agent had 12! In my opinion there is no better time to purchase a home in Lake Tahoe than now.  If you've ever considered owning a home in Lake Tahoe and taking advantage of today's low interest rates and prices, now is the time to act. 

 

I want to share with you my favorite local Italian restaurant, Primos Italian Bistro. This Italian spot offers everything from Caesar Salad, antipasto and stuffed mushrooms to pizza, Cacciatore and Marsala.  My favorite dish is Lobster Stuffed Ravioli. They have a full lunch and dinner menu and are available for take out.  They served us a great area wine last week ..Perry Creek's Zin Man...fabulous! Prices are reasonable too, with all entrees except 1 under $20 and nightly specials. Owner Jim and his staff are great and their service is amazing. Primo's is located at 2180 Lake Tahoe Blvd in South Lake Tahoe. Oh, and don't forget to save room for dessert...they're fabulous!
