Fourth Sunday of Pentecost
June 2012

NOTE: we are on summer schedule, liturgy begins at 10 am

This Sunday we hear of Jesus stilling the storm. We join with the disciples in the boat of the church-we call our church space a "nave": think "navy"-and pray for Jesus' presence and power in our midst through all life's storms.

Prayer List

Start a practice of praying for the Chapel community this week -- around the table before a meal, before bedtime, in the morning as you prepare to depart for a busy day. Use this list and remember those in need. We invite your prayers:

For our community

For all who grieve

For all recovering from surgery

For those who have cancer

In thanksgiving for our neighbor, Azam

For Carmen our new intern and her discernment team, Judy, Don, Sarah, and Emma

For Jennifer's brother Scot, David, Arlene, JR, Brian, David, Foy, Steve and Jan, Ron and Rachel, Nathan and Erin, Betty, Jonathan, Margaret, David and Sally, Laura, Lucas' mother, Jackson's friend Matt, Charlie, Ray, and Troy.

For those who are traveling and vacationing that they may be safe and enjoy their adventures
