Prayer List
During the week, we invite your prayers for those in need in our community and around the world, including:
For baby Annabelle, Joyce, Duane and Bishop Mark as they recover from surgery, and for all who are preparing for surgery
For the journey of Lent and all who are strengthening their life of faith during this time
For the DREAM ACT students as they prepare to walk to Washington DC
For Brach our new teaching parish student
For all who are looking for work
For all who are in transition or discernment
For all who continue to mourn, especially Don and Mike, April and her family, Miriam and Bob and their family, Brian and Marsha and their family
For those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries
Think about starting a new habit of prayer with your family this week -- around the table before a meal, before bedtime, in the morning as you prepare to depart for a busy day.

| Cool Congregations Challenge |
As part of the "Lay Down Your Toxic Burden During Lent" campaign the Green Team introduces the Cool Congregations Challenge:
Reducing your carbon footprint with 25 Steps under $25.
Who said you have to spend a lot of dough or shiver in the dark to better care for the earth? We didn't! We think Mother Nature wants us to be smart and comfortable. By using power more efficiently, we reduce our carbon dioxide emissions, slow down the pace of climate change, and even save money.
