Greetings!
Practice what we preach. I fell into the trap most of our customers fall into. We left town on vacation, and got way behind taking care of our own businesses marketing efforts. We preach setting guidelines and timelines to make sure plans are implemented and using automatic tools to do the work when you can't due to schedule changes and priorities being misplaced. Our specialty is utilizing free and/or inexpensive programs and tools that get the job done with professional results. In this issue, we've laid out a few that you can easily adapt to your own projects or business. Pass this along to your friends so they can enjoy the information we will be providing during our regular updates.

Marketing Muscle Without The Expense - Make the Sale We met with a client who was a distribut or and had all of their products available online through the international supplier. A competitor who used the same supplier had created their own site to capture rankings through the search engines. There was a considerable expense to creating the website and paying to be in the top searches.
We created a free Google website that used the links available from the supplier to pitch the product. In addition, we created blogs that are product specific and linked them to the website where links to the home office could be used at purchase.
Instead of paying for the higher rankings, we will earn them, saving a tremendous amount of money over time, generating a richer source of traffic and make it easier for the customer to make a purchase based on a working relationship rather than catalogue description.
We used two "blog" sites, Word Press and Blogger, which were free, and had a tremendous following. In addition, we re-purposed the information in their personal website and in an E-Newsletter through Constant Contact. Total cost - $15 per month.

I Want a Great Website For Cheap
A printer wanted to expand their sales effort to a national effort, creating a higher end market. They knew in order to capture that market, they needed a website to match the image they wanted to portray.
It's easy I told them, I gave him the link to Template Monster and said pick one out. There was an expansive variety of templates available at prices around $65. However, this person picked the most expensive one at a price of $265.
We will set up the site and teach the client how to maintain the site them-self. The cost to do this should only be a $49 html editor, which writes code and allow you edit your site similar to a Word document. In addition to the site, we are creating two blogs with a newsletter to highlight the solutions they've created for their higher-end customers across the country. By connecting with blogs, social media, and linking all of the entries, we will create relationships with similar businesses to share content and attract the appropriate audience. |
