Self knowledge is essential to our spiritual growth! Sheila is presenting an engaging, interesting, fun and insightful program to learn more about ourselves and others!

This is from Sheila: "Learn about your personality, preferences, values, and interests.  Find out what careers you are best suited for.  Additionally, research is showing that certain personality styles tend to gravitate toward certain spiritual and/or religious enviornments.  Learn what this research says about you."

Sheila Johnson, M.A., is a professor and counselor at Delta College and on our Unity of Stockton Board!

Suggested Offering is $20.00, but please come no matter what you feel you can offer!

New  Spiritual Master Mind Class

Two Weeks Only, April 18 and April 24, Wednesdays at 10 AM or 6:30 PM 

At 2025 W. March Lane Suite 5!

"Spiritual Master Mind" is a group process where a small group of people meet in person or by phone for an agreed time period, to support each other spiritually. We are offering this class over two weeks to explore this valuable way of opening to Spirit and our potential.

We are also forming Master Mind groups for those who would like to try it for 4 weeks after the class. Sometimes these groups last for 4 weeks only and that is it. They have fulfilled their purpose. Others last years! I recently heard about one that has lasted 22 years and has not ended yet.

To join a group, you must attend at least one, if not both of the classes.

Minister's Letter

Dear Friends,

When I served in Redwood City, in 1990, we started a class that evolved into a few spiritual circles. They met for a time at the Unity Center and then moved into people's homes. One powerful group included three long time friends plus 3 or 4 others.  One "original" passed away a few years later and another moved out of the state, and new people were invited to take their places.

Last week, I received email and a call telling me Mary Mills, one of the original members, had passed away at age 100! Mary was such a lovely, passionate, powerful person! I smile every time I think of her. The thing that touched me most deeply though was the story the person who called me shared with me. The original group, started in 1990, was still meeting, still praying together, still sharing. And they intend to continue honoring Mary and filling the need to connect spiritually.

This is so precious and so rare! Most groups come together for a purpose, and dissolve when the purpose is fulfilled. There is a common thread for all spiritual groups, though. All are formed for the purpose of supporting each other, for seeing the spiritual spark in each other, for coming together in love. We require support and human companionship at many times in our lives to evolve. 

Whatever way you choose to become involved with Unity this sacred purpose is always in play: we always come together to celebrate the Transformation of our Lives into the Christ Life that we celebrate on Easter. We always come together to celebrate our freedom to learn and grow through every moment of our lives as we celebrate with Passover.

We all nurture the Christ within us, and we need each other for support in this lifetime! I give thanks that you are here with us on this magnificent journey in Stockton at this time.

I wish you transformation.

Board President's Letter

Dear Friends,

This is an exciting time for Unity of Stockton. We just concluded our annual member meeting and elected two new board members! We are now in the process of planning our calendar for the next 12 months and already are working with Unity Western Region to be the first to offer weekend SEE classes, see our schedule. You can complete an entire SEE class for credit or audit in a single weekend! Others in the region will be adding to the list of classes, we are all working together and it is exciting. We also are planning our classes and workshops as well as events and fundraisers for the year. There will be a lot going on and an opportunity for all of you to get involved as much as you would like. It is a blessing to work on projects with you because it gives me an opportunity to get to know you better, and we all get to know each other a little better and appreciate the uniqueness and love we all have. We all have so much to give and learn from each other, I am excited about the opportunities and possibilities for this next year. Please be sure to stop by the offices when you have a chance, we are open from 10:00 to 4:00 Tuesday through Thursday. The meditation room is coming together and even now it is a lovely space to spend time going within.

I look forward to all that will unfold this coming year and how we will learn, grow, and love as a community.

Wishes Fulfilled Class!

10:00 AM and 6:30 PM at the Office.

We will be using Wayne Dyer's new book, and material from Neville Goddard, and US Anderson, both teachers that Wayne Dyer used to develop Wishes Fulfilled. This class will be a "discussion" class, with lots of solid, classic Metaphysics!

Marylee will be leading this class, and like all Unity classes, this offered as "Love Offering" or playfully the "karma method"!

Unity SEE Accredited Classes Coming to Our West Central Region and

Unity of Stockton!  

"Healing and Wholeness" Parts 1 & 2

SEE- Spiritual Education & Enrichment--is a pathway for personal spiritual growth and a requirement for aspiring Licensed Unity Teachers and Unity ministers.

The West Central Region has launched a program for working professionals as well as all interested to gather for 5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday and complete one entire class rather than spread it out over 10 weeks.

Unity of Stockton will be the first Unity Center to offer classes in this new weekend format!

We will offer Part One of Healing and Wholeness on

May 5 & 6, and Part Two will be offered June 23 & 24.

Everyone is welcome to take this class. The cost is $75.00/weekend, plus an additional $36.00 to register the credits with Unity if you are recording your credits for the future. Work-study is available for these classes.
