This I the Last Email Newsletter in 2011!

 

Tomorrow, January 1, 2012 will be our last Service at 48 W. Poplar St. AND the very first service of the Year 2012.

 

Can you feel the  energy possible for us in this moment?

 

In our service tomorrow we will pay tribute to our past. We remember it with love. We will also look back at some of the learning and the growth we experienced in these buildings. In the past we find our heart and our strength.

 

In our service tomorrow, we will resolutely look to the future with all the vision and hope that we experience together. We find our future and our community.  

 

This process of looking to the past and future is normal for January where even the name of the month gives us a clue. January is named for the Roman god Janus, the god of beginnings and transitions, as well as gates, doorways, and endings.

 

But tomorrow is very special. Join us at 10:30 AM for this service.

 

AND As we celebrate with words, meditation and song, we also Celebrate with Food!

 

The menu will be:

Ham Sandwiches,

Bean Soup with navy beans and black-eye peas, and

Lots of desserts!

There is no need to bring anything!

 

We want to eat up everything to make the moving easier on Monday!  

Next Week January 8 and for the month of January,

 

We will meet at Locke Center in the Student Lounge.

Services at the same time, 10:30 AM.

Delta Locke 

From I-5 North or South:

Take the March Lane exit East.
At Pacific Avenue Turn Left.
Turn Left into the main entrance to Delta College.

 

To access "C1" Lot: At the entrance bear Right and turn Left into the first lot.
Stay Left and turn Left into the Child Development Center Lot.

 

To access "L5" Lot: At the entrance bear Left and turn Right into the first lot. This lot is for those more experienced with moving around Delta college.

 

Check the arrow on the map for our location and see our Greeters at the C1 lot to be pointed to the room!

 

From Highway 99:

Turn onto Highway 4 West and go to Interstate 5 North.
Take the March Lane exit East.
