Introduction to Nose Work

Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and a natural desire to hunt. This class focuses on teaching you how to encourage and develop your dog's natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise. It's a great class for your dog to have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of mental and physical energy and to find out just how good is your dog's nose.

Instructor:  Yvonne Chohan

Intermediate Nose Work

(Open to students who have completed an Intro to Nosework class but are not yet on odor)

This class will cover the elements of a trial: interiors, exteriors, vehicle and container searches. We will go through the current rule book and discuss the different trial levels and requirements. This class is designed for handlers and their dogs just starting in Nosework who want to learn more bout NACSW and its trailing process.
