Greetings!
Fall, I love Fall! It is my favorite time of year. My family and I just went west to see the leaves that are in transition and it was amazing. The gold color of the Aspen trees is so beautiful. The weather is perfect, especially for knitting! I just finished my Fargo Sweater and CAN NOT wait to wear it, as well as the Tulpelo Scarf, I have the Bad Oyster on my needles right now and will cast on the Damson soon. (these patterns are available at Stash!) I usually have around eight projects going at one time as soon as the leaves and weather change. I get so excited about all the new patterns and yarn that make their way to the shelves at this time, I just can't help myself! Speaking of new yarn and patterns, there are too many to add in just this email! One more piece of good news! Stash will have extended hours October 1st - December 30th. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 10 am - 6 pm, Thursday Noon - 8pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am - 4pm and Sunday Noon - 4 pm! That's right! Stash will be open ONE more hour on Monday - Wednesday and open 12-4 on SUNDAYS! |

| Yarn Along the Rockies! | | Stash Shop Prize Winner and One of the Four Grand Prize Winners:
 | | sarah sokoloski |
Sarah Sokoloski is the winner of the Stash Shop Prize for the Yarn Along the Rockies Yarn Crawl! Sarah was so excited she said I made her day!
I bet, Congrats Sarah!
Stash was fortunate enough to have one of the four Grand Prizes on display. I was also lucky enough to contact Jean Bushnell, who was so excited to win she was literally speechless. Congrats, Jean!
Did you participate in the Yarn Along the Rockies? What an amazing and fun event! Both for us, the shop owners, and the customers who participated. During the nine days of the event from Sept 8-16 we saw 500+ crawlers!

All the participating shops felt it was a great success and we will be planning this event again - probably about the same time as this year. Next year we will all be better prepared for the overwhelming response to the crawl. Like making sure we have enough buttons! And, FYI, if you happened to visit Stash when we were out of the Stash Logo buttons, we now have plenty! Come on back and just ask, we'll make sure you get your button or you can send a SASE and we will send you one!
The shops met again on Monday the 24th with the completed passports drew for the grand prize winners. The winners have been contacted and as they come in to collect the prizes pictures are taken and updated. Each winner is posted on the Yarn Along the Rockies website, Facebook and Ravelry pages. If you visit the website, take the small survey on the home page, we would love to hear your feedback!
