Greetings!
Summer is just around the corner and that means warm weather knitting and summer crochet! It may be hard to believe, but this is the time when I knit bigger projects like sweaters. I seem to have a little more time in the warmer months especially since I am not driving my kiddos around to school and afternoon activities. Right now, I have the Fargo sweater, knit with Organik, both from The Fibre Co., on my needles. I don't feel the rush to get it done before the cold season ends, in fact I have a good 3-5 months to finish! I also find myself enjoying shawl knitting, this is the perfect time to knit lace and light weight projects. There are so many awesome new patterns that have arrived at Stash, I can't wait to get started on the many projects I have in mind for this summer.

Call to Vendors!
Stash is having a CALL FOR VENDORS for a craft fair we are having on June 16th from 10-3.
This also happens to coincide with the Castle Rock Classic Rock Cruise-In Car Show, so we will have a captive audience of hundreds!
If you are interested in becoming a vendor please email your Etsy shop or web address to corhoads@me.com by Monday, May 7th. If you do not have an Etsy shop of web address, you can bring samples of your work to Stash either this Thursday, May 3rd from 12-8 or Saturday, May 5th for review (you do not need to leave your samples).
We are in the stages of finalizing space for this event and will know more when we have received all submissions.
The space fee is extremely reasonable and there are fun surprises in store, so we hope you can participate!

Be sure to check out all the new patterns from Knitbot and Never Not Knitting! I have already knit up the Oak Grove Mitts from Never Not Knitting and the Yoked Cardigan for Knitbot! Speaking of patterns, Stash is Ravlery Friendly! This means most patterns available for sale on Ravelry can now be purchased through Stash. The next time you are looking at patterns on Ravelry, keep Stash in mind. By purchasing through your local yarn store you will be supporting your favorite yarn shop and your favorite designer. This is super convenient for you too, all Ravelry purchases through Stash will go directly to your Ravelry library. Please ask for more details the next time you are at Stash! |
