Welcome to the 2010 tax filing season.

 

It's that time of year again! The holidays are over, the NFL playoffs are underway, snow and ice are daily challenges and the countdown to spring has begun. However, before we can look ahead to warmer days, we once again must look back to 2010 to account for our income and deductions with our annual reckoning to the government called the "Income Tax Return".

Every year, Congress passes several bills which 'change' the income tax laws and 2010 was no exception. The Health Care Reform has many tax provisions which enact over the next few years through 2014, the late December extension of certain expired deductions and the extension of the Bush Era tax cuts makes working with a tax professional more important than ever before.
