This year at the Eastec Show, Lyndex-Nikken will be showing the 5AX-CIT115, a new tilting rotary table featuring a 4.5" faceplate trunion work envelope that can be incorporated in smaller vertical machining centers:
● compact and rigid vibration dampening cast iron base with symmetrical trunion for utmost stability and accuracy
● unique integrated rotary and swivel design performing with high accuracy and fast rotating and tilting speeds
● its unique design prevents the necessity of a larger machining center and reduces the cost of the overall manufacturing operation

How To Choose The Right Machine Tools for Machining Aerospace Parts
For any large and challenging high-value part, first you need to identify the most appropriate machine tools to roughing, finishing and drilling that part.
For machining a large aluminum part, the spindle speed and Rpm are likely to be the most important parameters to take into account. On the other hand, for a titanium part, rigidity and gripping power are the most important parameters.
