Planning Meeting

Since January of this year, we have learned about several wonderful organizations that are helping others.

Now it's time to plan a way to help them

This is Ripple Kids in Action!

The upcoming meeting will be a planning meeting where we will:

1) Vote on which 2 organizations we would like to help
2) Brainstorm ways we can help them
3) Begin to plan our Ripple Kids Team Summer Projects

Projects will take place in July and August. Anyone who would like to participate is welcome. Haven't been to a meeting yet this year? Doesn't matter!

Here are the organizations we have learned about this year:

The Joyful Foundation
Makes blankets for people in the hospital

The OC Rescue Mission
Provides shelter, health care and job training to OC homeless

Party Pepper Uppers
Provides birthday parties to those in need

There are many other organizations out there that are deserving of support. If you would like to put one (or two) up for consideration, please email me with the name and a brief description of the services they provide. We will review all organizations during our meeting and vote on which ones we would like to help.

Ripple Kids Team Meetings are monthly meetings that help us fulfill our mission to inspire and empower kids to take action in their communities.

During each 90 minute meeting we conduct a community service project and provide a forum for kids to brainstorm project ideas with their peers. Periodically we also have a representative from a local nonprofit come share information about their organization.
