 World Care's Biggest Year Ever!!!
We are nearing our fundraising goal

Updated Chart We are proud to announce that this year World Care has collected more donations, given more supplies to communities and recycled more than it ever has.

Tools for Schools reaches more students than ever before
Thanks to our generous sponsors KOLD and The Stocker Foundation

Pencils World Care's Tools for Schools program is an ongoing project to provide the quality school supplies necessary for an optimal educational experience to students and schools in need throughout Arizona. This year we were able to break our record of number of students reached and provided over 21,000 students with the school supplies they needed! We were also able to equip 514 low-income students between grades 6-12 with Pentium 4 computers. Our July CARE Fair and our Back-to-School Bashes were great successes, but we are always taking donations to help fulfill the incoming requests we receive each week. Stop by World Care with any books, backpacks, technological items and any other supplies you might have, or contact us for more information!

Medical Free Loaner is going strong

wheelchair World Care's medical free loaner program is growing fast! This program allows community members to borrow home health aid supplies such as wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, etc. Items may be borrowed for as long as they are required, we simply ask that the items be brought back to World Care once they are no longer necessary. This year we have received more requests than ever, reaching 227 Tucson community members. We need your help!! As we receive more requests for home health aid products, our supply is running low. If you have any of these items, please bring them to World Care. Needed items include: - Wheelchairs - Walkers - Canes - Crutches - Grabbers - Bedside commodes - Shower chairs - Adult Briefs and chucks

 End of Year Gift Planning
 December 31st is coming up...

Girl World Care's programs could not exist without the generous donations of our sponsors. Monetary donations of all kinds have already helped World Care bring thousands of school packs to children here in Tucson and rebuild after the hurricanes in Mexico. During these harsh economic times and with the holiday season approaching, we need your help. Please consider World Care when planning your end of year giving. Get your donations in before Dec. 31, to make the 2009 tax deadlines. We still need donations of computers and related items such as printers and scanners. All other electronic donations are welcome as well.
