Celebrate the Holidays Show

Greetings!

Sorry for the delay in getting this information out we wanted to wait for confirmation from the school before making it official...  SDCA is starting a new tradition which is to have a mini-recital as part of our holiday celebration in which each of your children can showcase what they have learned so far this year.  This program is in addition to regular classes for everyone except those who normally have class on Saturday.  It will have numbers from each class, dance company, our new theater group, and a very special guest for the younger children.
 
COMPANY, THEATER, MONDAY CLASSES, WEDNESDAY CLASSES
On Saturday December 12th at 10:15 we will have a showcase which will include all kids in company and theater combined with all classes on Monday and Wednesday....  your child will need to be at Teague Middle School in the cafeteria no later than 10am...  The show will start promptly at 10:15 and go until roughly 11:30 when a special guest will arrive from the north poll....
 
COMPANY, THEATER, TUESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY CLASSES
On Saturday December 12th at 12:30 we will have a showcase which will include all kids in company and theater combined with all classes on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday....  your child will need to be at Teague Middle School in the cafeteria no later than 12:15pm...  The show will start promptly at 12:30 and go until roughly 1:45 when a special guest will arrive from the north poll....
 
EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW
Here are the key things to know about this event:
 
1) Each teacher will let the kids in their class know what they need to wear
2) Each family will receive three free tickets to the event (performers don't need a ticket).
3) Additional tickets can be purchased in the office in advance for $3 per person starting next week or at the event for $5 per person (tickets at the event will be cash only).
4) We have limited space so please let us know if you need additional tickets early so we can make sure we have room.
5) Santa will be there to talk to each child and for photos so bring your camera - please limit this to the younger children since his time and hand-outs will be limited.
6) We will provide drinks at no additional cost - Booster parents are donating some minimal snacks for the event.
7) We are working on getting a video made of the event - more information to follow if that will be available.
8 ) You are WELCOME to take pictures and bring your own video camera with a couple of rules.  NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY and no tripods.   You may be asked to put your cameras away if you violate either of these rules.
9) The entire event will be done and we have to be cleaned up out of the school by 3pm...
