You helped us raise $102,000 for students in the Northshore School District!
The luncheon was a big hit! While Jim Dever was not available after all, Andy Wappler and Dale Amundsen really helped in a pinch--and thank you to Claire Mortimore, the high school senior who brought down the house with her story of how she overcame her challenges in reading to become an AP student with the help of loving parents, dedicated teachers, her own self reliance and the support of the Foundation.

Making Change for Children this Mother's Day Weekend and all the month of MAY!
Join us at Woodinville Top Foods this Saturday, May 7th!
Also, May 14th & 21st at Woodinville Albertsons
Instead of pedicures and brunches, three dedicated moms are spending their Mother's Day weekend kicking off a public campaign to increase awareness about education funding and to raise funds to support both disadvantaged and advanced students in the Northshore School District.
Davina Duerr, Sara Hayashi and April Remfrey are the creative force behind Milk Money, a grassroots Northshore Schools Foundation campaign, where community members are invited to contribute spare change to make a big change for children in the Northshore School District.
"To me Milk Money is about the power of individuals to make a difference," said Davina Duerr. "By educating the community and asking everyone to literally pitch in small change, we can make a big difference."
You can join the Change for Children Campaign by stopping by the Woodinville Top Foods on Saturday May 7th between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM or Saturday May 14th or 21st at the Woodinville Albertsons to volunteer or to contribute to the cause.
You can also reserve your milk bottle for display at your business.
Shop local vendors that are supporting the cause! Click here for a complete list.

Stepping up to the Challenge!
Thank you for making the match!
Over 160 of you took advantage of the special luncheon opportunity to make your gift to the Foundation and see it doubled or tripled by the Challenge Match sponsors.
In fact, so many of you stepped up that we exceeded our original Challenge Match Fund pool.
But when Elevation Cellars and Microsoft heard about how generous you were..... they stepped up to the challenge and increased their Challenge Match Gifts to the Foundation.
Thank you Microsoft & Elevation Cellars for providing $28,000 in Challenge Match Funds: every Challenge Dollar from an individual gift at the luncheon matched!
