Holiday Season Wish List
Each year the Foundation funds thousands of dollars worth of classroom innovative grants. 2011 grant applications have not been received yet however; your end of the year donation could be used in ways such as:
$15 buys 2 weighted toning balls - enough for one student to participate in regular fitness challenges during elementary PE time
$45 buys 1 take home math learning kit for half day kindergartners to increase their knowledge and understanding of math concepts and standards
$75 buys a classroom worth of supplemental science materials including cover slide, lens, paper & forceps
$150 buys ten paperback books making reading more accessible for all students. The Foundation funds 1,000's of books each year
$550 sponsors one teacher to join the UW mentorship Support group, supporting the National Teacher Board Certification Process
Supply Wish List From time to time the Foundation makes a request for office supplies and equipment that help us do our job more efficiently and at a lower cost. Your donation of the following supplies would be greatly appreciated.
- Copy paper
- Highlighter pens - Paperclips
- Stamps (Regular & Postcard) - White poster board - 3X5 dry erase board
- Color Printer / Fax Machine / Scanner
- Three office chairs (not rolling)
