Introducing...
New Staff!
We are so pleased to announce we have two new staff members joining our team here at the Pain Center!
Mike Terrell, Physical Therapist
My name is Mike Terrell. On the personal side, I have a lovely wife, a six year old girl, a two-and-a-half year old boy and a third on the way around Thanksgiving of this year. We also have an old, but still loveable, English Setter. Besides my family, my biggest passion is cycling. Remember, Mike Likes Bikes!
On the professional side, I graduated from GVSU back in 2001 and have worked in outpatient orthopaedics for the last 11 years. I am a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist. I decided to take a position at The Pain Center because I truly see it as the best possible treatment option for persons with chronic pain. Our multidisciplinary approach gives the patient the best chance at living a meaningful and satisfying life.
Amy Byerley, Psychologist
After a year of working at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, I am excited to work as a new psychologist with the interdisciplinary team at The Pain Center! I completed my undergraduate degree here in Grand Rapids at Calvin College and earned my MA and PhD in Psychology from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. I am looking forward to helping our patients who have been dealing with chronic pain to live their best life.

More than the programs ... At The Pain Center, all of our doctor's and therapists see patients outside of the programs. If you have a new injury, significant stressor, severe pain flare-up or need to adjust your home exercise program - come back to the team that you trust. We're happy to help.
Have a question about a flare up?
You are still a part of The Pain Center family. If you ever have a question, please give us a call at 616.233.3480 and we'd be happy to answer it.
