| Access Copyright Joins the Writers' Coalition Program |
Access Copyright is proud to announce that it is a member of the Writers' Coalition Program that offers you and your family access to affordable health and dental coverage.
Medicals are not required to join the program, premiums may be deducted from your income taxes and you will have the convenience of a drug card to pay for some of your eligible drug expenses. Our affiliates may also qualify for home and auto insurance at reduced market rates.
ACTRA Fraternal Benefit Society (AFBS) is the underwriter of this new health and dental insurance plan that offers lower rates than those charged by commercial insurance companies for comparable coverage.
AFBS is a not for profit insurance company that provides insurance benefits for over 15,000 Writers' Guild and ACTRA members.

Important Information on the Amended Google Settlement
|
On November 19, 2009, the U.S. District Court gave preliminary approval to the Amended Settlement Agreement reached by Google, the Authors Guild Inc. and the Association of American Publishers.
Among the many substantial changes to the Google Book Settlement agreement is that it now only applies to books published in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia instead of books published anywhere in the world.

It is not necessary to update your list of works in RMS. We will be sending you a mailing early in 2010 with information to provide us with details on your works to determine your repertoire payment for next year.
