Are you looking to improve the performance of your IT department? Does your business run an IT help desk?
HP's Race to Results Service Management Simulation, presented in partnership with the YTA, provides a practical overview and awareness of ITIL and IT Service Management. Set in the adrenalin-fuelled world of motor sport, participants will have a hands-on experience of how ITIL can dramatically improve business performance, focusing on enabling participants to understand the benefits of service management - right from the word "GO!"
This event is fast-paced, competitive and unlike any other IT learning experience - and the content is based on the best practices of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Participants in this event will learn about all aspects of IT Service Management, focusing on the strategy, design and operation of IT services. At the end of the event, participants will have a practical understanding of the ITIL lifecycle, recognize the components that make up service management and be well on their way to improving IT service management within their own organization.

Ted Madden
YTA Board Member
Ted Madden is a long-time member of the YTA, serving six years on the Board of Directors, including two as Chair of the Board. He continues to contribute as a member of the Executive Committee and as co-facilitator for the Leaders of Emerging Companies Peer Group.
For the past several years he has worked exclusively with start-up IT companies in various leadership positions. Through his company, TM & Associates Inc. he is a shareholder in many of these companies and understands firsthand the challenges that emerging IT companies face in building an organization, driving revenues, raising capital and most importantly – meeting the next payroll.
He is a results oriented senior executive with experience leading international and entrepreneurial technology driven businesses. He has a proven track record of success in sales management, operations, customer service and general management in IT and related industry sectors and has started new and innovative divisions and businesses; successfully building winning management teams. Ted is highly proficient at building sustainable businesses, including participating in raising venture capital.
During the first twenty plus years of his career, Ted had the opportunity to lead or work in exceptional companies such as IBM Canada, Prime Computer of Canada; Bull HN Information Systems; Pitney Bowes Canada; Interactive Media Corporation (now Lavalife); and Momentum.com.
