Greetings!
Fall is here and change is in the air -- and we don't just mean the weather! River Oak was very busy over the summer, making some new and exciting improvements that we are now ready to share with you!
The first change, as you have probably guessed, is this e-newsletter. We've wanted to improve how we communicate with you for quite some time, and decided that e-newsletters were a more efficient and cost-effective way to keep our friends informed. We hope you agree! Look for periodic issues in your inbox.
Another change -- and one we're most thrilled about -- is our completely redesigned website!
At the new www.riveroak.org, you can gain insight into mental health issues affecting children and teens; learn how River Oak's programs and services help children and families manage their challenges; and explore how you can help ensure a bright future for disadvantaged children and youth in the Sacramento area.
Finally, we are excited about the opportunities for change that the next few months can bring to our families with your generous help. With the holidays fast approaching, we look again to the community to make the season special and the New Year more successful for River Oak children and their families.

The success stories that you'll find in our new website, the opportunities and resources that our families receive through our programs and services -- these are all possible thanks to the generous support we receive from the community. Thank you for being a friend of River Oak!
Sincerely,
