Summer Highlights: Cool Enough to Beat the Heat
 As always, our events calendar is choc-full of things to do, large and small for families in the New Orleans area or on the Northshore. Here are a few big highlights but be sure to check out our extended calendar as we update continually.
On the New Orleans side, the circus comes to town! Don't miss the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus, Zing Zang Zoom at the New Orleans Arena. June 24 - June 27.
The highlight of summer for the Northshore is the upcoming Mandeville Seafood Fest at Fountainbleu State Park. Rides, music, and awesome food as well as the best fireworks display on the north shore. July 1-4. Tickets $10 advance and can be purchased at all Whitney Bank locations or $15 at the gate. Free for Seniors and children 10 and under.

For many people, seeing those stereotypical dad commercials for Father's Day draw cringes. Mundane tie and cake gifts. The electronic gadget of the month. Beer. Sometimes finding the right gift for Dad can be maddening!
