Greetings!

Welcome to the January issue of Park Life.

In this issue read about the success of the New Forest Tour and how it has benefitted the local economy; what the rangers are doing to reduce fuel emissions while out and about and how you can get involved in volunteering opportunities at the second annual volunteer fair.

We are asking for residents' views on the Western Escarpment Conservation Area action plan and from anyone who would be interested in becoming an Authority member.

Those who enjoy local history can find out what secrets were discovered at Lyndhurst's 'community big dig'.

Finally read about our views on the interim report by the Forestry Panel set up to look into the future of England's woodlands.

Best wishes,

The New Forest National Park Authority team
