Greetings!

With a back-to-school or work feeling after the holidays, we'd like to know if you have ideas for a project which would benefit your National Park community and the environment.

Our Sustainable Development Fund has £165,000 available this year to support projects and we're looking for new applications.

Since the fund started in 2006, 100 projects have benefited from £1 million and have generated £1.8 million in match-funding. We estimate around 55,000 people have been involved in these fantastic schemes.

Read on to find out how Ashurst and Colbury used the fund to help launch their allotments scheme. This weekend you can see renewable energy schemes in action across the New Forest and find out how community buildings have used the fund to help them install environmentally-friendly technology.

Best wishes,
The New Forest National Park Authority team
