Greetings!

We're busy getting out and about in the National Park and are helping you to discover the hidden secrets of the wonderful and historic New Forest landscape. We've been on foot, by plane and on an open top bus to bring you new insights into the Forest.

Also this month, central government has announced a cut to our budget, as with all public sector organisations. Please read what our Chief Executive Alison Barnes has to say.

Best wishes,

The New Forest National Park Authority team

The New Forest National Park's government grant will be reduced by 5% as part of the public sector savings.

We have been preparing for a likely reduction in our grant and had identified efficiencies over the last year, and are confident we can still fulfil our obligations.
