Greetings!

Welcome to the May newsletter from the New Forest National Park. This month it's all about the amazing animals and wildlife we have in the New Forest and how you can discover more about them and help look after them.

Find out about the dangers to foals, the rare species we found in a 24-hour wildlife bonanza, and news from a nestcam.

Until next month,

Bioblitz pond dippingExperts were joined by hundreds of members of the public and enthusiasts in locations across the Forest in a 'bioblitz' to record as much wildlife as possible in 24 hours to mark the International Year of Biodiversity.

Take a look at all the action and what wildlife we found on our Bioblitz blog.
